this place had no towel or paper towels in the kitchen, how ridiculous! woudl ve been nice to have a welcome gift since I chose this over fancier options. the porch light was on all night, very distracting! I almost gave it a good review, but just couldn’t, very dissapointed overall. not a worthy stay.

The Cedar cabin was large and well renovated.
My sofa in the Cedar cabin was uncomfortable for lounging. Although the staff was accommodating with changes, the unrenovated cabin we were placed in felt quite run down. I also wished for better kitchen supplies, as we had to bring our own towels and couldn't find paper towels in the kitchen.

The cozy garden area provided a perfect retreat after a long day exploring Nevada City, allowing me to unwind under the shade of the trees.
The lack of kitchen essentials, such as paper towels and extra utensils, made meal prep a bit inconvenient during my stay.

We stayed in a cozy Family Suite and enjoyed exploring Off Broadstreet Theatre. it's a fantastic spot for live shows! My grandchild loved running around in the beautiful garden area while we relaxed under the trees. Such a lovely place for families!
For dads, it would be great to have more kitchen supplies.

Solo traveler glowing review
I stayed for two nights in the 'Walnut' cottage and it was beautiful. I loved the quiet heating and air conditioning split unit, perfect for maintaining the vibe while I kicked back. The grounds have this cozy, secluded atmosphere with lots of shade from mature trees, ideal for relaxation. And that thick mattress? I felt like I was floating every time I hit the bed.
It wasn't the most affordable spot, but honestly, it was still okay for what you get.

The Walnut cottage offers a serene environment with well-maintained grounds and a cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. The heating and air conditioning worked flawlessly, ensuring comfort throughout the stay. However, the kitchen lacked sufficient utensils and essentials like paper towels, which slightly hindered meal prep. Additionally, although the check-in process was contactless and convenient, I missed a more personal touch from the hosts during my visit.

Staying in the "Walnut" cottage was such a treat with its cozy vibe and perfect temperature control, making my two nights super comfy. I loved kicking back in the spacious garden area and enjoying the relaxing outdoor seating under the shade of the trees. The kitchen could’ve used a few more utensils, but that didn’t take away from my overall enjoyment. 🌳

I had a wonderful stay in the Deluxe King Studio for two nights. The cottage was beautifully renovated and super cozy. It had modern amenities, and the thick mattress made for a great night's sleep. The outdoor space with mature trees added to the relaxing vibe. Everything was spotless.
